A Brief History of Baralex
Baralex Inc., traces its roots to 1956, when a French pharmaceutical company, Roussel,
set up a subsidiary in Canada. In the early 1960s Roussel Canada inaugurated a new division to market chemicals and pharmaceutical ingredients to other manufacturers.
Over the years many reputable chemical manufacturers entrusted the sales and
marketing of their Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients to the chemical division. Pharmaceutical mergers and acquisitions finally dictated the sale of the division. In 1998,
a management buyout by key staff resulted in a new name, Baralex Inc., but the ideals,
the staff and the product line continued as before.
Since 1998, the long-standing employees, some of whom have been with the company for over 25years, have been welcoming new staff and instilling them with the principles of our founders. Today,the Baralex mantra of superior customer service and attention to detail remains steadfast. |
